Jannai Hamblett, a 20-year-old student from Gloucester has been awarded ‘Apprentice of the Year’ by the Cirencester College Apprenticeship team for his exceptional work at the Bathurst Estate.
Studying for an ‘Advanced Diploma in Accounting’ at Cirencester College, Jannai has spent the past year with the Bathurst Estate team of which the CEO, Peter Clegg, says ‘The Bathurst Estate is pleased to support work placements and apprenticeships from local schools and colleges as part of our community engagement. We realise the crucial value of enabling students to gain workplace experience and benefit from working alongside professional colleagues in a commercial environment. The team is extremely proud of the recognition Jannai has received for all his hard work”.
The award recognised attitude, competence and the development of skills; all of which Jannai plans to continue with the ultimate goal of becoming a qualified chartered accountant.
