Equiniti opens new Milwaukee service excellence centre, creating 180 jobs

Equiniti Group plc (“Equiniti”), an international technology-led services and payments specialist, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The investment is expected to bring 180 jobs to Milwaukee’s northwest side.

Parkland Place will provide further scale and service capabilities in support of Equiniti’s 670 US clients, extending the existing Centres of Excellence in the Twin Cities, New York and Philadelphia. Shareholders of some of the most recognised brands in America will be served from Parkland Place, through an inbound call centre, walk-in service counter and additional client service operations including managing correspondence.

Forming part of the acquisition strategy, Parkland Place will also strengthen Equiniti’s resilience, with the location able to handle shareholder operations for the whole of Equiniti’s US business (EQ) if required.

Guy Wakeley, Chief Executive of Equiniti commented: “This exciting new US expansion strengthens our proposition in the world’s largest market. Building further scale and developing additional capabilities allows us to continually improve the market-leading customer experience we deliver. Our investment supports our strategy of being the transfer agent of choice in the US market.”

Todd May, Chief Executive Officer of EQ commented: “Investing in Wisconsin allows us access to a high quality, talented and diverse workforce who are committed to delivering fantastic service. We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues to join the EQ family. The business has been performing well with strong retention of our blue-chip clients, and this new Centre of Excellence will further enhance the service we are able to offer to new and existing clients across the US, which remains our highest priority.”

Mark R. Hogan, Secretary & CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Foundation, the State’s lead economic development organisation, commented: “As a global company, EQ had numerous options for this investment and we thank company leaders for their commitment to Wisconsin and for creating family-supporting jobs in Milwaukee. EQ is the latest company to establish or expand operations in Wisconsin because of the state’s outstanding business climate and dedicated workforce.”
