Commenting on Eurozone GDP figures

Commenting on Eurozone GDP figures, Rupert Thompson, Head of Research at Kingswood, said: “Eurozone growth continued unchanged at a moderate 0.2% q/q pace in the third quarter. Germany put in a better performance than expected and dodged the recession many had forecast. German GDP grew 0.1% q/q although this followed a worse than expected 0.2% decline in Q2. Meanwhile, France fared relatively well with GDP growing 0.3% q/q while Italy continued to lag with a 0.1% q/q gain.”
